Ka Ora, Ka Ako Impact Evaluation

‘Impact Evaluation’ is a sub-project of the student health and wellbeing survey that looks specifically at Ka Ora, Ka Ako schools and changes from 2020 to 2023.  Our goal is to understand the impact of the Ka Ora, Ka Ako initiative on student health and wellbeing outcomes. To achieve this, we will be collecting data through surveys and other methods to assess changes in areas such as mental health and physical health.

The ‘Impact Evaluation’ is an essential part of the overall Ka Ora, Ka Ako initiative, which aims to create a more supportive and healthier environment for students in New Zealand schools. The initiative has several components, including the implementation of healthy eating and physical activity programs, the promotion of positive mental health and wellbeing, and the development of stronger connections between schools and their communities.
